A Regency period rosewood games table attributed to Gillows of Lancaster; the top with lobed ends covered in the original blue Morocco leather has a central section which flips over to reveal a chess board or can be removed to display a backgammon board; the frieze with a blind drawer which retains its original gilded handles and is decorated with ormolu mounts; having elegant lyre ends which are raised on swept legs terminating in acanthus cap castors.
