A George II period rosewood and burr elm tea caddy; the lift-up lid retaining its original swan neck handle opens to reveal the original tea cannisters flanking a steel mixing bowl; the sides veneered in burr elm crossbanded in broad pieces of rosewood with barber's pole stringing. Retaining an excellent colour and patination.
