A Regency period rosewood console table; the table's well figured top with a gadrooned edge raised on scrolling legs which are boldly carved with acanthus leaves and terminate in a plinth base which is decorated with an unusual ripple moulding. The table retains its original mirror plate to the rear.
This console table's small size and shallow depth makes it an ideal hall table. The table's mirror back will also help to make a small hallway appear to be a larger space.
